On October 26, 2009, Doctors Jacob and Martin-Kniep will co-present on curriculum mapping. In curriculum mapping, both teachers and administrators have an equal voice. Teachers are expected to become curriculum designers. We expect them to be engaged in the design, revision, adn refinement of student learning and instructional practice. We need to support our teachers as they acquire these new skills.
Questions that will be answered during this workshop:
- How can we develop a trusting relationship between administrators and teaching staff?
- How can we help our teachers become curriculum designers?
- How can we make our mapping initiative sustainable?
- What infrastructure do we need to create to make all this happen?
