Infrastructure as a Service
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is an infrastructure solution for operating and maintaining your district’s servers. Processing, storage, and other needs are provisioned and managed offsite, freeing up your information technology staff to pursue more public-facing directives.
Services at a Glance
Accounting |
From an accounting standpoint, the capital expense incurred with server deployment will be eliminated. In its place will be an operational expense that can be planned and budgeted for. |
Technology |
Gone are concerns over power outages, hardware failures, offsite backup, and expensive maintenance fees. Hardware obsolescence also becomes a thing of the past! |
Business |
IaaS helps eliminate the costly downtime that comes when district staff must maintain onsite servers. Soft costs associated with servers (such as power and cooling) will also be reduced. |
