This video tutorial demonstrates how to use the Wimba Classroom tool as well as the Wimba Voice Board within a Blackboard class. Wimba is a 3rd party vendor and OCM BOCES has access to some of Wimba's suite of tools. Note that not all of the tools are available in our system.

Blackboard: Assessments-SafeAssignments
This video tutorial demonstrates how to create a SafeAssign type of assessment in Blackboard in which student written work can be added to the SafeAssign database to detect plagiarism.

Blackboard: Assessments-Assignments
This video tutorial demonstrates how to create an Assignment in Blackboard for students to submit written work. It show how to create an Assignment from the teacher's point of view. It then shows how a student would submit their response and how the teacher would evaluate it.

Blackboard: Assessments-Pools
This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Pools of questions to generate Tests in Blackboard.

Blackboard: Assessments-Surveys
This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Blackboard's survey assessment tool to generate anonymous feedback from students that will be reported in the Grade Center. The Survey tool works similarly to the Test tool in Blackboard. Please review the "Test" video tutorial for more information.

Blackboard: Assessments-Tests
