Blackboard: Interactive Tools--Rubrics This video tutorial demonstrates how to set up a grading rubric for blogging activities in a Blackboard course. Blackboard: Interactive Tools--Wimba Tools This video tutorial demonstrates how to use the Wimba Classroom tool as well as the Wimba Voice Board within a Blackboard class. Wimba is a 3rd party vendor and OCM BOCES has access to some of Wimba's suite of tools. Note that not all of the tools are available in our system. Blackboard: Interactive Tools-Glossary This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Blackboard's Glossary tool to create a list of terms and definitions for your class. Blackboard: Interactive Tools-Contacts This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Blackboard's Contact tool to add your contact information to a Blackboard course. Blackboard: Interactive Tools-Class Messages This video tutorial demonstrates how to set up Class Messages in Blackboard to allow users to communicate without relying on email. Users can send and receive messages as well as attach documents. Blackboard: Assessments-SafeAssignments This video tutorial demonstrates how to create a SafeAssign type of assessment in Blackboard in which student written work can be added to the SafeAssign database to detect plagiarism. Blackboard: Assessments-Assignments This video tutorial demonstrates how to create an Assignment in Blackboard for students to submit written work. It show how to create an Assignment from the teacher's point of view. It then shows how a student would submit their response and how the teacher would evaluate it. Blackboard: Assessments-Pools This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Pools of questions to generate Tests in Blackboard. Blackboard: Assessments-Surveys This video tutorial demonstrates how to use Blackboard's survey assessment tool to generate anonymous feedback from students that will be reported in the Grade Center. The Survey tool works similarly to the Test tool in Blackboard. Please review the "Test" video tutorial for more information. Blackboard: Class Management-Content Contextual Menu This video tutorial demonstrates how to manage the content in your Blackboard course, including editing content; setting adaptive release rules; enabling statistic tracking; adding alignments; and copying, moving, and deleting content.
