Responsibilities: Rick oversees and supervises the instructional technology division of the CNYRIC at OCM BOCES.  He is responsible for budgeting, service planning and management, maintaining district communication, and supervising all employees on the Instructional Technology & Design team.

Responsibilities: Carol is responsible for media library tasks and maintenance of all media. This includes film, video, DVD, library kits, photo collections and audio books. Additional duties include media scheduling, helping teachers find appropriate materials, and the handling, scheduling, and delivery of all media.

Responsibilities: Chris oversees the reacquisition of Media Library video programs, streaming services, and hardcopy resources.  He trains client faculty to improve their ability to search and locate relevant curriculum materials for their use in the classroom. Chris also advises faculty on Copyright regulations and Fair Use.

Responsibilities: Dan is responsible for all Blackboard Services, Scholastic Read180 support, Teaching American History grant support, and various Model School staff development offerings, especially those related to the introduction and uses of blogs, wikis, and podcasts.

Responsibilities:  Jackie provides technology integration support services for the LaFayette School District, helping teachers and students enhance the learning process.  She specializes in curriculum mapping and literacy initiatives.



   

Robert Leo

Responsibilities:  Rob is responsible for coordination of the Model Schools program for the 23 districts in the OCM region.  He serves on the statewide Model Schools committee acting as our liaison to bring back the latest information on instructional technologies.  Rob also coordinates our new TALKS series and all professional development activities within the ITD department.

Responsibilities: John is first level support and lead trainer for SchoolWorld, Ensemble, Explore Learning Gizmos, I-Notes and Lotus Notes.  He provides additional support to school districts by helping teachers integrate instructional technologies into the curriculum.

Responsibilities: Josh is the web master for the CNYRIC and OCM BOCES.  He develops, maintains, and supports most web-related activities within our organization.  Josh also coordinates the Web Design service for the ITD program, which reaches out to many schools in our region.

Responsibilities: Mike is responsible for maintaining video streaming services for the CRC, designing classroom media equipment layouts, writing specifications, and managing audio visual bids.  He evaluates new equipment from vendors, recommends new equipment purchases to districts, and does mass duplication of DVD's and Cd's.

Responsibilities: Nancy's primary focus is on improving student performance through the use of curriculum mapping, standards based grading, and on-line assessments. She supports literacy initiatives with research-based tools like Fast ForWord, and provides itinerant support for the Onondaga Central School District.

Eric is responsible for WebMax video streaming, video duplication, off-air public broadcast taping requests, and onsite video collections (Timely Topics; Site Collections, and History Kits). Additional responsibilities include VHS/DVD repair and media booking.




 

Amy Spath

Responsibilities: Amy supervises the Curriculum Resource Center and is responsible for assisting districts with all e-learning initiatives, including virtual field trips, point-to-point video conferencing, and the Ensemble Video service, all with the hope of helping students make global connections.  She also provides training on such technologies as interactive whiteboards, student response systems (clickers), and many other instructional tools.

Responsibilities: Lee is responsible for booking all media for schools and organizations that utilize OCM BOCES. She generates reports and statistics, adds all new items to the media collection and WEB-MAX, and assist the Library Media Specialist with annotations, editing, and new acqusitions.
