More than 340 teachers and administrators from nearly 30 school districts participated in at least one of the Instructional Technology team’s professional development workshops this summer. Opportunities included both on-site and online workshops, as well as classes in several component districts. “Our growing team of instructional technologists worked hard to develop professional development offerings that would meet the needs of local educators, and I’m confident we accomplished that goal,” said Model Schools Coordinator Rob Leo. Courses focused on timely topics such as Google Apps for Education, Mobile Learning Technologies, Critical Thinking and Coding, as well as several other technologies that foster collaboration and communication.
