RTI PLC AIMSweb Plus,  FastBridge, and STAR User Groups
  • Data Coordinators will host the Spring AIMSweb, FastBridge, and STAR User Groups and the RTI PLC on Friday, June 9.  These meetings provide the opportunity for coordinators and districts to share best practices in using data to inform instruction.

AIMSweb Plus User Group
The AIMSweb Plus User Group will meet on Friday, June 9 from 8:30-11:15 a.m. in CNYRIC Building 8. The group will focus in on those end-of-year reports that really highlight the growth of groups and individuals, and how this data might influence Tier 1 conversations and decisions. We will also consider how to interpret progress monitoring data and organize schedules. In addition, the group will have time to discuss how to best prepare for use of AIMSweb Plus in the 2017-18 school year.

FastBridge Learning User Group
Our June User Group will focus on conversations about how to best use end-of-year data to help assess the effectiveness of instruction and prepare for immediate intervention support in September. We will review growth reports, as well as district and school-level reports in Fast. We will discuss measures that we used this year and our plan for using the same or different measures for next year. The FastBridge LearningUser Group will meet on Friday, June 9 from 8:30-11:15 a.m. in CNYRIC Building 2.

STAR User Group
Our final STAR User Group for 2016-2017 will focus conversations on end-of-year procedures, including reports districts need to save and ways they are laying the groundwork for a smooth Fall start up. We will review growth reports, as well as district and school-level reports. You will hear about advantages of pulling district information in through a Renaissance provided sftp site and company updates from Renaissance Representatives at CNYRIC for the morning. Please note that the User Group time is from 8:30-11:15 a.m. in CNYRIC Building 8. 

Response to Intervention (RTI) PLC
The Spring Response to Intervention PLC is scheduled for Friday, June 9 from 12:15-3:00 p.m. in CNYRIC Building 8. The group will continue to explore the ways in which student involvement in data collection and analysis benefits both instruction and learning. Additionally, teams will revisit the work around leveraging common assessments, from design, to analysis, to processes for decision-making. Our discussion will consider how these approaches impact core instruction as well as those additional targeted interventions.
