The Data Warehouse has the relational database structure that integrates detailed K-12 information from different student management systems and locations into regional and statewide databases. Collected student and district-specific data become the foundation for data analysis and instructional decisions.

College Clearinghouse |
This service provides college enrollment data, including changes in enrollment, across different sectors (such as community, public, or private), demographics (such as race/ethnicity or income), and areas of study, allowing schools to assess students' interests, persistence, and success in college. |
Customized Data Services |
This service provides additional data warehouse training and/or application support to meet the specific needs of districts in the area of data verification. Data Warehouse staff provide customized data facilitation training in districts, building sustainable practices in the skillful use of data to improve student outcomes. It also provides CNYRIC programming assistance in supporting any districts or BOCES with data needed to populate student management systems or other student or data related applications. The data warehouse department can also conduct systematic reviews through data analysis and interviews of people, processes, and procedures related to the collection, verification, and analysis of district and school data. |
Data Warehouse Participation |
Data Warehouse services involve the reporting of staff and student data to the Student Information Repository System (SIRS). It includes the Level 0 and Level 0 historical reporting applications, as well as the Level 1 and Level 2 Data Warehouse systems. It also includes access to reports at both Level 1 and Level 2 through Cognos, with unlimited accounts available for district personnel. District personnel are invited to bimonthly district data administration meetings to review the latest reporting requirements and upcoming deadlines. |
District Data Coordination |
The CNYRIC provides data coordination support for districts in the areas of verification, analysis, and facilitation, while working directly with administration and staff members. This coordination includes fostering clear communication around New York State Education Department (NYSED) data collection and verification deadlines with district administrators, and reviewing student information systems (both general and special education) to meet NYSED SIRS reporting requirements. The service also offers Response to Intervention support and consultation, whereby data coordinators can prepare data analysis reports at the request of the district including: Attendance trends, summary of AIMSweb data, graduation rates, passing rate trends, and state testing score analysis. Customized support for data verification, data analysis, and data facilitation is also available. |
