The Logo
The CNYRIC acronym - paired with the “Connecting Education” motto, in CNYRIC blue and black - is the official logo of the Central New York Regional Information Center. At small scale (or when the small text becomes so small as to be illegible), versions of the logo without the motto may be necessary.
Logo Do's and Dont's
Below are some do's and don'ts for the CNYRIC logo. A lot of these are best practices, but if you are unsure if your planned use of branding is acceptable or not, please contact the e-Comm team.
Brand Colors
The primary brand colors utilize the same blue and black that are featured in the CNYRIC logo. There is often a need for secondary colors, to be used as indicators of some sort, or so that your design, presentation, etc. does not become too monotonous.
Typography
Our official typefaces can be found in the Google font suite, and can be installed easily onto your computer for company use.
Roboto
This is our Sans Serif font. Roboto should be used for headings, and can be used for body copy.
Lora
This is our Serif font that can be paired with Roboto. This should be used for body copy only (such as for paragraphs).

Presentation Template

Important to remember: After clicking the "use template" button, the first thing you'll want to do is save/download your own copy from which to work. To keep working in Google Slides, click "file," then hover over "make a copy" and select "entire presentation." You'll then be prompted to save a copy of the Slides presentation template to your preferred location in Drive. By clicking on "file" and hovering your mouse pointer over the "download" button, you'll be presented with different download options; for those who prefer to use Microsoft PowerPoint, the option to save in that format can be found there.
