From Around the Region: Baker Senior Selected for Prestigious Orchestra

Parker Bruce, a senior at Baker High School, has been invited to perform with the NYO2, a program of the Weill Music Institute of Carnegie Hall. Selection for the orchestra is a significant honor and achievement.

Students complete an intensive two-week residency working with top players from American orchestras. Students also spend a week in Miami Beach with the New World Symphony before performing in a final concert at Carnegie Hall.
