Summer Workshop Schedule
See the 2010 Master Schedule of Model Schools Summer Workshops below. PD 100+ is a Model Schools service that offers over one hundred professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators throughout the year. Workshops for instructional technology integration are delivered in several formats, including webinars, face-to-face workshops, video conferences, and on-line training, and are provided at no additional charge for teachers and administrators in the OCM BOCES Model Schools Program. Along with the CNYRIC, Cortland, East Syracuse-Minoa, Tully, West Genesee, and Westhill Central School Districts have offered to host Model Schools workshops this summer. Teachers through the region are invited to register for workshops at a venue that is convenient for them. Please contact the Model Schools Coordinator with any questions or to suggest a workshop that is not currently offered. |

This workshop will cover basic video editing using adobe premiere and dvd authoring using adobe encore. In Premiere, participants will learn to import and capture video footage, pictures and music, add simply effects and transitions, create titles, and export completed projects. In Encore, participants will learn how to create and manipulate dvd menus, create simple picture slideshows, and burn completed projects. Video footage and pictures will be available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own materials to work with. External harddrives or thumbdrives are recommended, but not required.
