The New York State Model Schools Program provides support for all New York State schools that are at diverse stages of technology acquisition and application. Over time, this program requires commitment to instructional technology planning, customized professional development, and the implementation of New York State Learning Standards and Assessment through technology. This program extends state and regional coordination and support to schools consistent with the Guidelines for Instructional Technology Planning and Application, published by the New York State Education Department, Office of Curriculum and Instruction.
