ITD Professional Development offers over one hundred workshop opportunities for teachers and administrators throughout the year. Workshops for instructional technology integration are delivered in several formats, including webinars, face-to-face workshops, video conferences, and on-line training, and are provided at no additional charge for teachers and administrators in the OCM BOCES Model Schools Program. |

Model Schools Technology Integration Exchange Sessions provides a forum for instructional technology specialists in the Central New York region to share best-practices for technology integration tools and teaching strategies with the goal of transforming teaching to meet the needs of 21st century learners. The New York State Model Schools Program provides support for all New York State schools that are at diverse stages of technology acquisition and application. Over time, this program requires commitment to instructional technology planning, customized professional development, and the implementation of New York State Learning Standards and Assessment through technology. At CNYRIC, Model Schools provides instructional technology training and support for our 23 OCM BOCES component districts. Model Schools Consultants design and implement professional development tailored to districts’ individual technology and instructional initiatives and serve as itinerant technology specialists within districts. Model Schools Consultants provide professional development through webinars, face-to-face workshops, and on-line training. There are a variety of forms that must be filled out by trainers, instructors, substitutes, and Administration regarding the Model Schools Program. The trainer is responsible for collecting these forms and submitting them to the appropriate person (either the district’s business manager or the Model Schools Coordinator).
